The cost of care is highly dependent on your needs. Costs are impacted by both hours of service and the specific skills you or your loved one requires from a caregiver. Please call us at (561) 905-1376 to discuss your unique situation.

We will also work with you and your family to maximize any benefits you may qualify for under a long-term care insurance policy or other third-party payor sources. If you do not have a long-term care policy and are concerned about the cost of paying privately, we can help you find care within our network that may be covered by Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans’ Benefits or other payor sources.

We understand that unexpected things happen. That is why we are always there for you. Although more advance time will allow us to find a caregiver who will be a perfect match, we can usually refer a high-quality caregiver within 24 hours. 

What happens if my caregiver has an emergency and can’t make it to work?2024-06-26T19:23:41+00:00

This is such an important question to ask yourself if you are weighing using a registry versus hiring an aide privately. We maintain a rolodex of high-quality caregivers who are available on short notice for fill-in shifts. We will make as many calls as necessary to ensure that you are not left without assistance, whether for a day or a week. Fill-in service is provided at no incremental cost to you.

We take this question very seriously, and so should you. We interview every caregiver we work with to ensure that we only refer the highest caliber professionals. 

In addition to our own interview process, every caregiver we refer is fully licensed as a Home Health Aide or a Certified Nursing Assistant by the State of Florida. Each caregiver has passed a Level 2 background check, which includes fingerprinting and a federal criminal report.

Once we are confident in the professionalism of a prospective caregiver, we note any special experiences, such as working with Dementia or Alzheimer’s clients, meal preparation or language proficiencies. This allows us to refer a caregiver who will best meet your needs.

We match clients with caregivers for a wide range of needs, including companionship, light housekeeping, errands, driving and assistance with daily activities on an hourly or live-in basis. 

Understanding how you could use assistance will help us determine what level of care you need and find the perfect caregiver for you. If you need assistance determining what you or your loved one needs, we would be happy to send one of our team social workers or nurses to discuss your options.

Consequently, we offer only the “Platinum Standard in Nursing Care.” Caregivers we refer are fully credentialed and thoroughly screened. We require a criminal background check, and a Level 2 fingerprint screening. Personal and professional references are required. If you desire, we will refer up to 2 interviews for you to choose who is your best match.

Platinum Select Care is fully licensed and insured. Most importantly, all caregivers are meticulously matched to the client’s level of needs, as well as personal preferences.

We Accept All Long-Term Care Insurance

We are a preferred and approved provider for most long-term care insurance companies. In addition, to help take the pressure off of you and your family, our in-house insurance department will verify, prepare, and submit all of your long-term care benefit claims, thus assisting you through the process.
